Vacancy for Parish Councillor
4th attempt to fill the vacancy!
The parish council usually invites one of its clique of friends to fill a vacancy. Unless you're the favoured one invited, forget it - go through the motions but you'll not be selected. They chose to not select either of 2 candidates 14 July, 18 September or 10 November. Neither were in their clique.
Applications are invited from any legally qualified person who is willing to serve the community and wishes to be considered for the vacancies

- The successful candidates will be invited to join the Parish Council for the remainder of the meeting.
- The Parish Council does not have to appoint a candidate as a Councillor as indeed the overtly chose not to on 14 July, 18 September or 10 November (because I was the applicant!). So they now hope the addition of "Previous applicants need not apply" means I must not apply! WRONG use of English isn't it!? All previous applicants (back to 1962?) can apply!
